Mr. Albert Bettuzzi - Instructor/Director
Mr. Bettuzzi discovered the KUMON program as a parent desperately searching for a program that could help his then 2nd grade daughter who was struggling in reading. KUMON made all the difference not only in terms of his daughter's success in reading and math skills, but also in building her self-confidence and self-learning skills.
Mr. Bettuzzi passionately believes that all students can benefit from the KUMON program just as his own children have. He graduated with a BA from Illimois State University in 1986. Thereafter, Mr. Bettuzzi graduated from DePaul University, School off Law with a Juirs Doctorate in 1989. Mr. Bettuzzi practiced in the areas of civil litigation and real estate development for 20 years.
For the past seven years, Mr. Bettuzzi has assisted his wife in opening and operating the Kumon centers of Park Ridge and NIles. Those centers have been recognized as being in the top 3% of Kumon centers nationwide. After Mr. Bettuzzi successfully completed the intensive instructor training program offered by Kumon, he took over operation of the Park Ridge Kumon Kumon Center while Dr. Michelle Bettuzzi took over the operation of the Arlington Heights Kumon Center.
Mr. Bettuzzi has lived in the Park Ridge community for over twenty years. As a father of four young children, he has actively participated in numerous community organizations. Mr. Bettuzzi is interested in broadening the awareness of the Kumon program within the community and increasing the success of his students.
